Borderline. Although as I think I said in an earlier post I think the idea
of these systems is good, personally I've not gotten around to it yet.
The thing is, whatever you decide to install to perform function X on a
VPS some other sysadmin may want a different package to accomplish that,
and will end up removing or simply not using the things you installed "for
free".
I liken it to getting a "fresh" laptop or computer from a manufacturer
only to find they've decided what firewall, IM and other clients you'd
"like" to have on the system.
I value factory-fresh. Other people value other things.
